How could this Podcast be used in my classroom?
I picture using this to record my assignments when I'm out of school. I could make a podcast to specifically spell out what my instructions for the day. My substitute teachers have a tenancy of fouling up my plans. This way I will know exactly what was said to my students.
Is this something I would do regularly?
Actually I have done a similar activity already. I have used the voice recorder to record my plans. In fact I used a digital video camera to do it too. It worked out really well and the students thought I was cool.
Would my students benefit from a podcast?
I believe they would. I hold them responsible for work that I sometimes am not sure they got. I feel better knowing what they were told. In Susquehanna, the quality of substitute teacher that we get is questionable at best. My words can not be mistaken.
